We had a great session focused on the skills founders need to develop to lead their teams and companies beyond the product, and were blown away by the thoughtfulness of the questions posed by the participants of the Baslangic Noktasi: Be Node Akademi program.

At the end of another rigorous 16-week process, startup finalists, presented their ideas to Akbank’s Investment Committee of Executive VPs and two startups, Voltla and WasteLog, received $500K each in funding.

For this prize competition, GIC designed a customized iX Innovation Execution Online curriculum to include top agritech experts and players from the African innovation ecosystem for the prize competition finalists.

GG worked closely with the founders of the top six companies. She coached them prior to the finals presented their pitch live onstage in El Nido, Philippines in front of world-renowned venture capitalists, investors, tech founders, and tech leaders.

Helped accelerate several internal projects (intrapreneurs) and external startups that are going through their accelerator (entrepreneurs). This included workshops and 1:1 sessions with the cohort.

Launched the Akbank Venture Builder Program, which combined Aş Kendini with Entrepreneur in Residence phase to create spin-offs after 10 weeks preincubation and 14 weeks for development & prototyping.
